Church Council

The church council leads the congregation. It receives its tasks from the annual general assembly of church members. All members of the congregation are invited to the annual general meeting and all members are entitled to vote. Members of the church council are elected for a period of 4 years. Currently the church council consists of 8 members. Upon request church members may be asked to join council meetings.

Tasks:
Serve to unify the congregation with respect to its diversity to the Glory of God.

This included the following responsibilities:

– Maintain and improve the community in the congregation
– Maintain relationships with organizations outside the congregation
– Oversee congregational budget and finances
– Prepare and execute the annual general meeting
