Max Wiedmer, chairman of the program committee, says: It is a unique opportunity to meet sisters and brothers from Mennonite communities throughout Europe. For the first time, the conference will be jointly organized by nine Mennonite community associations: AEEMF (France), ADS (Netherlands), KMS (Switzerland), AMBD, BTG and AMG (Germany), MFÖ (Austria), AIMP (Portugal), AMyHCE (Spain). It is also the first time that German Mennonites of Russian origin (Russian-Germans) have joined the organisation.
